 Jehovah dispelled the presumption of omniscience. He became the Christ and only then He knew that being a man is horrible. Thus he inclined his steps towards ceasing the pulse and the breath. Manual of suicide. But he accepted the torture.

 He fled.

  On the Cross, man excited abandonment and through it Jehovah showed his humanity: he lied to move mercy towards Him, and, through Him, towards men
